Charmaine Patterson has been an attorney for 15 years. She is a graduate of the University of the West Indies where she received a Bachelor of Laws Degree and a Master’s Degree in Telecommunications Regulation and Policy.

Ms. Patterson started her career as an Attorney-at-Law at the Kingston Legal Aid Clinic (1993-1996). Here she developed expertise in Family Law, Estate Planning, conveyancing and Civil Litigation.  Thereafter she has worked in the Legal Department of various ministries of the Government of Jamaica. In this capacity she developed expertise in Commercial Law and Information and Communications Technology Law.

Miss Patterson is a Director of the Paralegal Training Institute and Conotech International Company Limited. She is also a member of the Jamaican Bar Association.
